Our puffs use organic sorghum as the base of the recipe. Other puff treats tend to use inflammatory filler ingredients like corn and rice. Sorghum is an ancient gluten-free grain that is often referred to as a “superfood” ingredient in pet food. Sorghum is high in iron and fiber; easy to digest. The grain offers a delicious, mild, nutty taste. Sorghum also ranks low on the glycemic index.
